The Deluxe features a wider diameter base plate, reinforced side struts, a heavier hammer plate, reinforcement to the top of the blade and the tool comes with a Dead Stop as a fixture, allowing the superintendent to precisely set the depth of his hole, right down to the maximum that the blades permit.
